Lake Point Recovery and Wellness, formerly known as Freedom House, began operation in January 1975, as a Residential Treatment Center for men. Lake Point expanded and opened a Residential and Outpatient Women’s Facility in 1979, then moved to 400 Lake Front Drive in Russellville on September 15, 1989. Since its existence, Lake Point Recovery and Wellness has served over 15,000 men and women. It became Lake Point Recovery and Wellness and moved to its current location of 83 ARVAC Lane in Russellville on February 1, 2022.
Mission Statement: It is the Mission of ARVAC, Incorporated, dba, Lake Point Recovery and Wellness to enable individuals to live free of alcohol and/or other drugs by providing quality person-centered behavioral health services in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
Lake Point Recovery and Wellness has a qualified team of professionals who recognize the importance of providing a holistic approach to treatment, the importance of trauma-informed care, and addressing the unique needs of women. We provide customer-focused, individualized and person-centered care in a setting that is beautiful, holistic, serene, private, and secluded. Our customers receive quality care from our experienced and accomplished staff members in a luxurious facility nestled on the shores of Lake Dardanelle.
Our customers have access to high quality meals, private rooms (with private restrooms), and a wide range of mental health and substance use disorder services. We provide individualized care for Men in Residential Treatment, Women in Residential Treatment, and Specialized Women’s Services (SWS), a residential treatment program for Women with children under the age of six. Our program offers an onsite early childhood education program that provides high quality child care and education to those enrolled in our SWS Program.
Lake Point Recovery and Wellness is a recognized leader in CARF (Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities) Accreditation for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. All Lake Point Recovery and Wellness Programs are recognized by the National Registry of Evidence-Based Practices that have been tested and proven through research to be successful.
