The Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs utilize the Matrix Model curriculum, which is evidence-based and offers comprehensive, coordinated, and defined services that address a variety of needs including -but not limited to- situational stressors, family relations, interpersonal relationships, wellness, family life cycle, and psychiatric illnesses, combined with continued substance use disorder treatment.
Lake Point Recovery and Wellness’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an appropriate treatment option for individuals who struggle with addictions, but no longer need the structure of daily groups and monitoring to maintain sobriety. Intensive Outpatient treatment consists of 9 hours per week of structured groups, individual therapy sessions, random drug screens, and available medical services. This program provides customers with an intensive level of treatment and supervision, while also allowing the freedom to reintegrate into society. We work heavily with customer’s on gaining employment, resolving legal issues, attending community self-help groups, and engaging in hobbies that support recovery. The program typically lasts 90 days, then customers are able to transition into Outpatient treatment.
If your treatment needs are less severe, our Outpatient Treatment program may be right for you. Lake Point Recovery and Wellness offers individual therapy sessions with our licensed mental health and addiction counselors, group counseling, substance use assessments and psychological testing services. With our outpatient services you are able to fit treatment into your busy life by selecting individual or group counseling that accommodates your schedule and your needs. This phase of treatment is for the maintenance of the customer’s sobriety as well as to manage symptoms and develop relapse prevention skills in order to sustain a clean lifestyle.
Recovery is a lifelong journey, not a destination. Outpatient services and IOP services are designed to aid customers in that journey. While the most difficult time in recovery is typically taking that first step, detoxing off of substances that you may have been using for years, and putting everything else on hold, long term sobriety can be incredibly challenging. Our Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to bridge the gap between Residential treatment and a life free of substance abuse and addiction.
