Support for Families
Healing doesn't happen in isolation - it happens together. Our family support programs are here to help you rebuild trust, strengthen connections, and move forward as one.
Get Help NowAddiction affects the entire family, not just the person in active addiction. We realize that by the time most people reach out for help or seek out addiction treatment for a family member’s substance use disorder, the situation has typically gotten out of control. Lake Point Recovery & Wellness in Arkansas provides comprehensive treatment to those suffering from addictions. We also offer help and support for the family of those in addiction, including spouses, parents, caregivers, siblings, and children. Family support is an important part of recovery. This is true not just for the person suffering from addiction but for all family members who are affected by a loved one’s alcohol and drug use. But you don’t have to wait until things get worse. Reach out today and take the first step toward healing – for yourself and your family.
Education and Guidance for Families
At Lake Point Recovery & Wellness, we encourage family involvement through an educational program to help loved ones better understand addiction. We explore how substance use can become a systemic issue within a family. Furthermore, we also educate on the biological aspects of addiction and provide tools for navigating family dynamics. These classes are free to the families and friends of our inpatient clients. They take place twice per month on visitation days.
Individualized Family Support Services
We also offer more individualized support to families of those struggling with addictions and mental health issues. Our trained clinical staff offers:
- Family therapy sessions
- One-on-one consultation and education
- Information on substance use disorders and treatment
- Connection to supportive resources like Al-Anon
We also help families find resources outside of our agency.
Personalized Healing for Families
Lake Point Recovery and Wellness provides personalized and confidential addiction recovery services for the entire family or individual family members. Dealing with the traumatic events that surround those in addiction can be difficult. Having someone to talk to can accelerate the healing process. Our clinical staff can assist families with learning ways of improving accountability, improving communication issues, and dealing with the emotions of being betrayed or lied to by those in addiction. We also offer free resources to families and those struggling with addiction, even if you choose not to seek treatment right now.
