You don’t need to have all the answers to walk through the doors of The Point Church. Here, you’ll find a place to worship, reflect, and gather with others in a setting that values presence, compassion, and community. Located on the Lake Point Recovery & Wellness campus, the church is open to individuals and families who are part of the Lake Point community, during treatment and long after. We believe that no one is beyond redemption, no story is too broken, and no season is without purpose. Join us for a Sunday service or Wednesday night gathering and experience The Point Church for yourself.

Spiritual Support That Meets You Where You Are
The Point Church offers Christian, non-denominational spiritual support, with respect for individual beliefs and backgrounds. Participation is always optional. Whether faith is new to you or already part of your life, you are welcome here.
If you belong to a different denomination or faith tradition, referrals can be provided upon request so you can remain connected to your spiritual community.
You are never pressured — only supported.
Led with Care and Compassion
The Point Church is led by Pastor Henry Garner, Jr., who also serves as Chaplain at Lake Point Recovery & Wellness.
Pastor Garner walks alongside you with humility, wisdom, and compassion — offering spiritual guidance, prayer, and encouragement during times of growth, struggle, and renewal.
You are never alone on this journey.

A Community That Walks With You
Church at The Point is more than a service. It is a community built on consistency, care, and genuine connection. Transformation often happens quietly — through shared prayer, honest conversations, and people who believe in you even when you struggle to believe in yourself.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11
This promise reflects the heart of The Point Church. No matter where you are in your journey, there is hope ahead and a future worth stepping into.
Giving With Purpose
At The Point Church, we do not collect an offering during services.
Guests and community partners who feel led to give are welcome to do so:
- Online
- Through annual fundraising events
- By supporting special church initiatives
All contributions directly support access to care and wraparound services for individuals in treatment at Lake Point Recovery & Wellness.
Partnering With Local Churches
The Point Church is committed not only to serving individuals in recovery but also to walking alongside churches throughout our community. We believe lasting transformation grows when the Body of Christ stands together in faith.
We recently shared a letter with pastors and church leaders outlining our heart for collaboration, outreach, and spiritual support for those navigating addiction and recovery. If you are a pastor, ministry leader, or church member who would like to learn more, we invite you to read the letter below.
We welcome opportunities for prayer partnership, volunteer involvement, ministry collaboration, and future community outreach. Together, we can continue building hope and restoration — one life at a time.
You Are Welcome Here
Whether you are strong in your faith, searching for answers, or unsure where you stand spiritually, The Point Church is open to you. Come as you are. Bring your questions. Bring your family. Bring your story.
If you or someone you love would like to learn more about available support or next steps through Lake Point Recovery & Wellness, we invite you to reach out to our campus team today.
